Liberty Christian was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after a bye. The Bulldogs came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 30 last week.
Blue Ridge took down Christchurch School 60-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tristan Allen threw for 135 yards and 3 touchdowns during the win.
The Barons' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground PJ White contributed 200 yards. Afanna Offor helped Blue Ridge's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 55 yards.
Blue Ridge's dynamic duo of Allen and Eric Davis proved to be unstoppable against the Seahorses, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Offor helped Blue Ridge's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 55 yards.
White provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Orlando Patterson's team beat Christchurch School. White's favorite target this week was Davis, who caught 2 passes for 75 yards.
He was 5-8 with 1 interception.
Leading VISFA Virginia Independent in both passing and receiving yards, Liberty Christian's Matt Lewis and B.J. Farrow have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Lewis has thrown for 1,250 yards this season, while Farrow has 26 catches for 512 yards. White from the Barons leads the league in rushing with 533 yards.
Frank Rocco's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 849 from 1,030.
