The Brookfield Bobcats were the 52-46 winner over the Immaculate Mustangs when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Brookfield fell 43-32 to the Mustangs on Monday.
Immaculate got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Callie Miller out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Kristina Asmani was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Brookfield's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8. As for Immaculate, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
Brookfield will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pomperaug is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Immaculate, they will square off against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bethel is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
