The team also got some help courtesy of Marlon Howard Jr., who scored seven points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Lima Senior entered their tilt with the Cougars with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Lima Senior snuck past the Cougars with a 51-45 win on Saturday.
Trotwood-Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Lima Senior, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.
Things could have been worse for Trotwood-Madison, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-51 loss to the Spartans in their previous matchup back in February of 2023.
