The Baptist Hill Bobcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lowcountry Leadership 67-22 on the road. The win was some much needed relief for Baptist Hill as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Baptist Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zechaia Jenkins, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Jenkins scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sharice Blufton, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Baptist Hill's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they bumped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Baptist Hill will head out on the road to face off against Military Magnet Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Military Magnet Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Baptist Hill likes a good challenge. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against St. John's at 6:00 p.m.
