Mid-State - South recap November 5, 2013
Carson City-Crystal added to the longest winning streak in Mid-State - South this week by beating Evart, 21-6. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Eagles.
Sacred Heart Academy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on Coleman. Dustin Neyer threw for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 55 yards during the win.
Adam Stremlow threw for 203 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 10-21 with 2 interceptions.
Stremlow put up the best numbers through the air as the Comets fell to the Irish. Stremlow's favorite target this week was Matthew Warner, who caught 4 passes for 172 yards.
Coleman's Stremlow and Warner led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Stremlow has thrown for 2,703 yards this season, while Warner has 39 catches for 1,152 yards. Neyer from Sacred Heart Academy leads the league in rushing with 826 yards.
Rick Roberts' team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,530 from 8,053. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 28-21 victory over Chad Klopf's team last week.
