After flying high against Shawnee last Thursday, Elida came back down to earth. The Elida Bulldogs fell just short of the Kenton Wildcats by a score of 50-48 on Thursday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Elida's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4. As for Kenton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elida will finish 2024 at home by hosting Lima Senior at 7:30 p.m. on December 26th. As for Kenton, they will be home for the holidays to greet Bluffton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
