The Parkview Christian Academy Falcons will head out to take on the Newark Norsemen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Parkview Christian Academy's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They didn't even let Varsity Opponent on the board, marking the Falcons' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Matthew Busch was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Parkview Christian Academy's success: when he allows at most two hits the team is undefeated (and 3-4-1 when he doesn't). Busch was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Landon Malkowski was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Crew Staudacher was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
Newark hadn't beaten Serena on the road since May 19, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Norsemen put the hurt on the Huskers with a sharp 11-4 victory. That's two games straight that the Norsemen have won by exactly seven runs.
Like Parkview Christian Academy, Newark also got a great game from a two-way player: Kiptyn Bleuer. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Bleuer was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Eastin Mcbroom was a standout: he went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jackson Walker, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs.
Newark kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Newark pushed their record up to 10-14 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Parkview Christian Academy, their record is now 8-4-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Parkview Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Newark struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
