Danville never let East Knox on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22, 25-16.

Danville relied on the efforts of Kenzi Staats, who had 25 assists and three digs, and Kayley Sheldon, who had 13 digs and one assist. Staats has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.
Meanwhile, Delaware Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Mechanicsburg on Saturday and fell 3-2.
Delaware Christian took Mechanicsburg into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 18-25, 20-25, 15-7.
Delaware Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Danville, they pushed their record up to 10-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
