A Season-Best Performance from Machaon Puga Leads Prospect Ridge Academy over Platte Canyon
Prospect Ridge Academy was led to victory by Machaon Puga, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Puga picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 130 yards. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 85 yards.

On Saturday, Platte Canyon had to settle for second even though Carter Hogsett put up the best numbers he has all season. Hogsett rushed for 234 yards while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
This season, Hogsett has averaged 17.5 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 0.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 72.5 rushing yards.

Sullivan Strange's big game helped extend Forge Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Strange was dynamite, throwing for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.

For the year, Tafoya has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 92.6 rushing yards per game.
