The Rural Vista [Hope/White City] Heat were the  47-33 winner over the Centre Cougars when they last played one another  back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Rural Vista [Hope/White City] lost to Centre on the road  by a decisive  45-31 margin on Monday. Rural Vista [Hope/White City] has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Rural Vista [Hope/White City]'s loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Bailey Rapp, who  scored 13 points along with three  steals. Rapp is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last three games she's  played.  Angie Linder was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with five  rebounds.
 Rural Vista [Hope/White City]  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only  an  assist. That's the fewest  assists they've managed all season.
 Rural Vista [Hope/White City] has  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost eight of their last ten games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Centre, their victory  ended a eight-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-14.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rural Vista [Hope/White City] will  face off against Wakefield at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Rural Vista [Hope/White City] is facing Wakefield at the right time seeing as Wakefield is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Centre, they will head out on the road to  take on  Herington at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully Herington focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 18 last Friday.
