Voorhees came up short against  Delaware Valley on Saturday, falling  7-1. The  matchup marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Montgomery and Rutgers Prep, and Montgomery kept the tradition alive. The Cougars narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Argonauts  4-2.
 Mason Neufeld made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   six  hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.

 Voorhees' defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Montgomery, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
