Baldwin Park scaled the state rankings by moving to 711 from 881 this week, the biggest jump in Valle Vista. The Braves were able to make move up by defeating El Monte 47-18.
Pomona took down Garey 54-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Manny Lua threw for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.
Baldwin Park's Michael Moran and Jayson Miller have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Moran has thrown for 346 yards this season, while Miller, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 8 catches for 172 yards. Jelani Staten from the Red Devils leads the league in rushing with 62 yards.
Pomona led the league in scoring this week by notching 54 points on the Vikings. Lua during the win.
