The biggest upset of the week belonged to King City, who took down 279th ranked King City, 22-0. Drew Cottrill ran for 169 yards in the win.
Gallatin's Tristen Wilson recorded the longest rushing play in Grand River this season in his game against Polo last week. Wilson ran for 62 yards on the play and finished with 62 on the day as his team lost to the Panthers.
Gallatin's dynamic duo of Jacob Boyd and Trystan Sunby proved to be unstoppable against Polo, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Boyd threw for 247 yards and 3 touchdowns and Sunby had 115 yards receiving. Bradley Rhoades helped Gallatin's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 73 yards.
Kevin Gundy's team's dynamic duo of Boyd and Sunby proved tough for Chris Johnson's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Dylan Heitz provided a threat through the air and on the ground as South Harrison topped Princeton. He completed 10 passes for 180 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 110 yards. Heitz's key target this week was Corby Clark, who caught 2 passes for 84 yards.
Boyd put up the best numbers in passing as the Bulldogs fell to the Panthers.
He went 12-22 with 0 interceptions.
Sunby was the best receiver in the league this week as Gallatin fell to Polo.
Cottrill was the most successful running back in the league this week. Teammate Zach Sharp added to the ground attack by rushing for 58 yards.
The Bulldogs' Heitz and Tyler O'Neal have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Grand River in both passing and receiving yards. Heitz has thrown for 621 yards this season, while O'Neal has 10 catches for 192 yards. Cottrill from Albany leads the league in rushing with 332 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when South Harrison takes on the Panthers. As it stands, Caleb Obert's team is in first, while Polo is in third.
The Bulldogs were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in the league. South Harrison beat the Tigers 55-0 earlier in the week.
