The San Diego Jewish Academy Lions won against the Guajome Park Academy Frogs last Thursday with 75 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. San Diego Jewish Academy blew past Guajome Park Academy 75-30 at home. That 45 points margin sets a new team best for San Diego Jewish Academy this season.
San Diego Jewish Academy was led to victory by Ethan Abeles and Jacob Rissman. Abeles scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Rissman dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Abeles is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. David Feigenbaum was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
The victory got San Diego Jewish Academy back to even at 9-9. As for Guajome Park Academy, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Diego Jewish Academy will take on Tri-City Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tri-City Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully San Diego Jewish Academy likes a good challenge. As for Guajome Park Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coastal Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
