The Southwest Dragons entered their tilt with the South San Antonio Bobcats with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Southwest took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 35-7 victory over South San Antonio. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Southwest's 12-point performance the matchup before.
Aazeryuan Voss was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown. Tyson Deen was in the mix as well, providing Southwest with three touchdowns.
Southwest's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.5 points per game. As for South San Antonio, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
Southwest will head out on the road to face off against Cigarroa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cigarroa comes in on a streak of failing to score more than ten points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for South San Antonio, they will be playing at home against Medina Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
