There's no place like home for Midway, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lutheran Knights on Wednesday as they made off with a 17-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Midway has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Lutheran, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midway will welcome Liberal at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lutheran, they will host Heartland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
