The Bowie Pirates were the 50-32 winner over the Rivercrest Rebels when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Bowie took a 34-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels on Tuesday.
Rivercrest was led to victory by Alexis Case and Anna Duvall. Case scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Duvall scored 16 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Case has scored all season.
Bowie's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Rivercrest, they pushed their record up to 12-19 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Bowie will take on the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Maud has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 5. As for Rivercrest, they will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
