Jett Walker Delivers Electric Performance Vs Cedar Park
Jett Walker was instrumental in extending Georgetown's winning streak to six on Thursday. Walker turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 285 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.
Georgetown pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Walker and Georgetown will face off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Ty Blair Leads East View over Leander
East View was led to victory by Ty Blair, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Blair rushed for 184 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He is becoming a predictor of East View's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 2-5 when he doesn't).
For the season, Blair has thrown 24 touchdowns while averaging 246.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 39.7 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 95.3 rushing yards.

Peters Posts Huge Game in 48-7 Victory
Lake Belton found a leader in Davion Peters as the team took down Chaparral on Thursday. Chaparral had no answer to Peters as he picked up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown. Peters was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 59 yards.
Lake Belton pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Peters and Lake Belton will head out on the road to face off against Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Maverik Maddux Delivers Best Performance of Season
Maverik Maddux produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lake Belton to the win on Thursday. Maddux threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt.
For the year, Maddux has thrown 10 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 172.4 passing yards per game.

London Morgan's Big Game Leads Rouse over Glenn
Rounding off our Top Five is London Morgan of Rouse. Morgan threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Glenn's probably not too fond of Morgan given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Morgan saw the Grizzlies), he threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown.
