The Bloomfield Bombers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. Their tough 63-42 defeat to East Rochester might stick with them for a while. Bloomfield has not had much luck with East Rochester recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Cameron Smith and Ben Jones certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Smith scored 15 points, while Jones scored nine points.
Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for East Rochester, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Bloomfield will head out on the road to take on Geneseo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Rochester, they will be playing at home against Gananda Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gananda Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 355th, while East Rochester is ranked 167th).
