Pine Hill had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 28-point drubbing they dealt East Mountain on Thursday. The Pine Hill Warriors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the East Mountain Timberwolves 63-35. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Pine Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nevaeh Natan, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 16 points and seven steals. Natan is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed six or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Jodie Tillman and Evelyn Kannolt certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Tillman almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds, while Kannolt posted eight points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.

Pine Hill's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for East Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Pine Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-33 loss against Tucumcari on the 3rd. As for East Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-42 win against Hatch Valley on the 3rd.
