Ider waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Midfield Patriots as they made off with a 17-2 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 15 runs or more this season.

Rylan Wheeler was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Axl Williams, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Ider always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .720. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Midfield only posted an OBP of .214.

Ider's record is now 6-1. As for Midfield, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Ider will head out to challenge Sylvania at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midfield, they will venture away from home to face off against Shades Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
