Lennard had a senior duo take command as Nate Montalvo went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 29 points along with six rebounds and five assists and Makai Hills went 9 of 19 en route to 18 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. Those 18 points gave Hills a new career-high. Edgar Delvalle was another key player, putting up eight points.
Lennard smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.
Nuri Hakim and Deon Pierre certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Hakim went 8 of 12 en route to 19 points and six boards, while Pierre went 5 for 11 on his way to 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Theus, who posted eight points.
Lennard's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for King, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
Lennard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-46 defeat against Tampa Bay Tech on the 22nd. King has also already played their next contest, an 88-48 loss against Gaither on the 22nd.
