Savio's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They breezed by Concordia on the road to the tune of 52-25. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Savio has posted since November 17, 2023.
Cornerstone Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Regents proved too difficult a challenge. They secured a 59-54 W over the Warriors. The victory was some much needed relief for Regents as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
Savio's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-13. As for Regents, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.
Savio might still be hurting after the 65-41 loss they got from Regents in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Savio avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
