League recap: Heritage tops Eau Gallie to extend winning streak

Heritage extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 13 this week by beating Eau Gallie, 27-7. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Panthers.

Heritage took down the Commodores /Ftg 27-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Eau Gallie's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Commodores /Ftg feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Torrence Brown has thrown for 52 yards and one touchdown this season, while Daneil Kroupa has two catches for 34 yards. Jordan Benton leads the league in rushing with 124 yards.

Bayside made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,820 from 3,190. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 21-7 victory over Melbourne last week.
