Veritas fell to the Bulldogs 50-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Nicholas was a bright spot for the Lions, as he threw for 73 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 26 yards in the defeat.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Calvary Christian and Joe Robert's team. The Cougars enters the game ranked 15th in the state, while the Bulldogs ranks ninth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Calvary Christian takes on Christian Collegiate Academy. Kerby Newell's team has allowed 268 points this season, while the Bulldogs have given up 216.
