St. Bernard's has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Miramonte Matadors at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Bernard's will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
With a playoff game on the line, St. Bernard's rose to the challenge on Saturday. They breezed by Analy at home to the tune of 49-0. Considering St. Bernard's has won six matchups by more than 22 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Wyatt Simoni, who rushed for 307 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. Simoni's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
Meanwhile, Miramonte didn't have too much trouble with Alhambra at home on Friday as they won 34-17. The win made it back-to-back wins for Miramonte.
Miramonte relied on the efforts of Jack Quinnild, who picked up 98 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and Carson Blair, who threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 passes.
Their wins bumped St. Bernard's to 9-3 and Miramonte to 8-3.
