In other batting news, Madi DeStefano was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Lexi Falcioni, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
North Branford's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games.
