Dupree has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Jones County Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jones County took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Dupree, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Dupree didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Mustangs, but they still walked away with a 53-48 victory.
Meanwhile, Jones County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 64-52 to Leola/Frederick.
Jones County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cooper Feddersen, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Kaden Kinsley who scored 22 points along with two steals. Feddersen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Nix, who scored six points.
Dupree's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Jones County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
Dupree might still be hurting after the 65-43 loss they got from the Coyotes when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Dupree avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
