The Crestview Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the Pymatuning Valley Lakers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, Crestview got the win against LaBrae by a conclusive 28-7. The win was just what Crestview needed coming off of a 56-7 loss in their prior matchup.
Maxwell Hawkins was a one-man wrecking crew for Crestview as he rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Mikey Proctor and his 103 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Crestview's victory.
Meanwhile, Pymatuning Valley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They blew past Windham, posting a 38-0 victory on the road.
Their wins bumped Crestview to 5-5 and Pymatuning Valley to 7-3.
