Brimfield entered their tilt with Canton on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Little Giants. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by seven runs or more this season.

Brady Johnson was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Johnson wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Noah Malone, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Brimfield's record now sits at 5-2-1. As for Canton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Coming up, Brimfield will face off against Illini Bluffs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canton, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Limestone at 4:15 p.m.
