The Worcester Tech Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Hopedale Blue Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Worcester Tech will be strutting in after a win while Hopedale will be coming in after a loss.
Worcester Tech had to endure a three-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Auburn by a score of 58-49 on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Hopedale ended up a good deal behind Hudson on Wednesday and lost 62-48.
Despite the loss, Hopedale got a solid performance out of Patrick Madden, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Parker , who scored ten points.
The victory got Worcester Tech back to even at 1-1. As for Hopedale, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Worcester Tech took a serious blow against Hopedale when the teams last played back in February of 2020, falling 73-44. Can Worcester Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
