Priester is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Oscar Smith's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jania Murphy, who scored 12 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Murphy has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Makayla Carrington, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.
Grassfield's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Oscar Smith, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
Grassfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Deep Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Deep Creek is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Oscar Smith, they will face off against Western Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Branch is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
