The South Ridge Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Cromwell Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
South Ridge had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged Mesabi East out 51-48.
Meanwhile, Cromwell didn't have too much trouble with Proctor on the road on Tuesday as they won 71-53. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cromwell.
It was another big night for Brady Dahl, who scored 31 points along with two steals. He hasn't dropped below 16 points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Dylan Nyberg, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
South Ridge's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-17. As for Cromwell, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
South Ridge was dealt a bruising 77-38 loss at the hands of Cromwell in their previous meeting back in January. Can South Ridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
