On Wednesday, Summit K2 came up short against Golden State Prep and fell 63-50. Summit K2 has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Onyekachi Achinulo was the offensive standout of the contest as he dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Achinulo is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Biren Lowe, who scored 12 points along with 6 assists.
Summit K2's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Golden State Prep, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit K2 will take on Berean Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 8th. Golden State Prep won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Aspire Richmond Ca. College Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th.
