Antonito's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Destanaya Quintana, who scored seven points along with 12 rebounds and three steals, and Luz Elena Parra who scored 17 points along with five steals. That was a full 48.6% of Antonito's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Moffat's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. As for Antonito, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moffat will take on Centennial at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Antonito, they will be playing at home against Liberty Tree Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Tree Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last ten games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
