The Homedale Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Weiser. If Homedale was looking for revenge after losing 57-37 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tiana Sorenson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Asumendi, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Homedale struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Homedale's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Weiser, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
Homedale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Weiser also has no future games currently scheduled.
