North Judson-San Pierre is 0-10 against Winamac since May of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Bluejays will be playing at home against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. North Judson-San Pierre will be strutting in after a victory while Winamac will be coming in after a loss.
North Judson-San Pierre is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Oregon-Davis 17-4 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won four in a row.

Molly Madsen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Madsen was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, North Judson-San Pierre got a massive performance out of Kenya Cooper, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits Cooper has posted since back in May of 2024. Lexi Howard was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
North Judson-San Pierre always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Winamac's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Newton on Friday. That makes it the first time this season the Warriors have let down their home crowd.
North Judson-San Pierre's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Winamac, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. North Judson-San Pierre hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Winamac struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
North Judson-San Pierre might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from Winamac in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Bluejays have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
