Twin Falls waltzed into their match on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Wood River Wolverines with a sharp 11-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jordan Bingham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cooper Thompson, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Hoyt Murray was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Twin Falls pushed their record up to 19-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Wood River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Twin Falls will be playing in front of their home fans against Minico at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. Wood River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
