They took a 58-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lutheran. Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lutheran apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Christian Fontaine was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals for Lutheran. Fontaine has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last five times he's played. Nate Rooker was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-6. As for Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.
Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy will head out on the road to take on Parkway Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkway Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.1 points per game. As for Lutheran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Taylor Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
