College scaled the state rankings by moving to 183 from 216 this week, the biggest jump in 4A District 4. The Ropers climbed the ranks as a result of topping Capitol Hill 55-14.
College made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,796 from 11,580. The improvement was the result of 55-14 victory over the Redskins last week.
Muldrow's dynamic duo of Dominic Blue and D'andre Owens proved tough for Vian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Blue threw for 181 yards and Owens had 119 yards receiving. Wesley Durham helped Muldrow's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 28 yards.
The Bulldogs' dynamic duo of Blue and Owens proved to be unstoppable against the Wolverines, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Blue put up the best numbers in passing as Muldrow lost to Vian.
Jace Pitchford was a passing and rushing force as Poteau topped Webster. He completed 11 passes for 128 yards and also ran for 110 yards. Pitchford's key target this week was Kendrick Hardaway, who caught 2 passes for 55 yards.
Pitchford was the best running back in the league this week. Roger Barcheers also contributed to the rushing game with 93 yards on the ground.
Owens was the best receiver in the league this week as Robert Johnson's team lost to Brandon Tyler's team.
Poteau's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pirates feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Pitchford has thrown for 505 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Jarrett Lowrimore has 19 catches for 230 yards. Pitchford also leads the league in rushing with 350 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when James Burkhalter's team takes on Fort Gibson. The Ropers are in second place, while the Tigers are in fourth place.
College led the league in scoring this week by notching 55 points on Capitol Hill.
