North Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 33-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawthorne Hornets. On the bright side, the 26- point effort marked the Colts' highest-scoring game to date.

North Marion's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Hawthorne, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

North Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hawthorne, they will head out to challenge Palatka at 6:55 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 12.9 points per game this season, so the Hornets' offense will have their work cut out for them.
