Windsor Hills Baptist extended the longest winning streak in Oklahoma Christian (8 Man) this week by beating Eagle Point Christian Academy, 56-12. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Oklahoma City Patriots HomeSchool suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 58-22 loss to Oklahoma City Patriots HomeSchool. Oklahoma City Patriots HomeSchool had been ranked 25th, but fell to 29 following the defeat.
Windsor Hills Baptist's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Javier Rodriguez threw for 40 and one touchdown and Brad Keeton had 40 yards receiving. On the ground Taylor Larson chipped in 104 yards. Nathaniel Blythe helped Windsor Hills Baptist's passing attack out by catching two balls for 18 yards.
Nate Post made the biggest impact on defense this week as Wes Randall's team topped the Eagles. The 5-foot-7 sophomore recorded one fumble and grabbed 1.5 sacks.
Destiny Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Craig Hofeld has thrown for 1240 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Colton Hamel has 27 catches for 631 yards. Boston Mims leads the league in rushing with 523 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Wright Christian takes on Destiny Christian. As it stands, the Wildcats are in third, while the Wildcats are in fourth.
The Bulldogs took down Eagle Point Christian Academy 56-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Keeton threw for 22 yards and one touchdown in the win.
