Argonaut had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Union Mine Diamondbacks as they made off with an 8-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Hailey Dewald spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Bailey Baker was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Gia Stone also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Argonaut's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Union Mine, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Argonaut didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Liberty Ranch on the 24th. As for Union Mine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-9 defeat against Bradshaw Christian on the 24th.
