The Robert C. Byrd Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. They blew past Liberty 61-36. That 25  points margin sets a new team best for Robert C. Byrd this season.
 Robert C. Byrd had a senior duo take command as  Martina Howe  scored 24 points along with nine  rebounds and four  steals and  Carleigh Curotz  scored 19 points along with seven  rebounds and six  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Curotz has scored all season.  Chandi Currence was another key contributor,  scoring three points along with five  rebounds.
 Robert C. Byrd's win was  their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Liberty, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
 Robert C. Byrd will head out on the road to  face off against  Lincoln at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in West Virginia (Lincoln is ranked 32nd, while Robert C. Byrd is ranked 29th). As for Liberty, they will look to defend their home court  on Monday against Philip Barbour at 6:00  p.m.
