Mason Marland produced another solid performance rushing for 129 yards and two scores on only nine carries. Another reason for the win was Morrisville-Eaton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thousand Islands). They breezed past Bishop Grimes to the tune of 46-18 on Friday. The Vikings' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Thousand Islands found their leader in sophomore Thomas Bernhardt, who rushed for 175 yards and one TD while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 71 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Jacob Coyne, who gained 50 total yards.
