Wahconah Regional has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Pittsfield Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Wahconah Regional's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.
Two weeks ago, Wahconah Regional didn't have too much trouble with Greenfield at home as they won 62-47. That's two games straight that Wahconah Regional has won by exactly 15 points.
Meanwhile, Pittsfield pushed their score all the way to 64 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Agawam by a score of 67-64. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Pittsfield has suffered yet this season.
Despite the defeat, Pittsfield got a solid performance out of Pat Brennan, who scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brennan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Makai Shepardson, who scored 15 points.
Wahconah Regional now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Pittsfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Wahconah Regional came up short against Pittsfield when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 77-64. Can Wahconah Regional avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
