The Salmen Spartans had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They took down Episcopal 68-52.
Shawn Washington was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Hartley, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Salmen's victory bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Episcopal, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season.
Salmen and the Warriors will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Episcopal, they will head out on the road to square off against the Cubs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. University Lab will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
