Basketball Game Preview: 21st Century Charter Cougars vs. Calumet New Tech Warriors

Williams' afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Terrence Hayes was another key player, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, in a tight match that could have gone either way, Calumet New Tech made off with a 65-64 win over River Forest.

21st Century Charter's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.5 points per game. As for Calumet New Tech, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Everything came up roses for 21st Century Charter against Calumet New Tech when the teams last played back in February of 2022, as the team secured an 87-58 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Calumet New Tech's Eric Martin, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 21 boards.
