The Thomasville Bulldogs's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Cairo as Thomasville made off with a 52-27 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Thomasville also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Thomasville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kennedy Hayes, who scored nine points along with nine steals. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhaniya Wilson, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.
Thomasville's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Cairo, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Thomasville will take on Thomas County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Thomas County Central will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Cairo won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Rehobeth at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
