The Troy Trojans lost against the Butler Aviators back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Troy was outmatched by Butler at home and fell 48-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Troy has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Troy still got an impressive performance from Emma LeVan, who scored six points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points LeVan has scored all season.
Troy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Butler, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
Troy will head out on the road to face off against Xenia at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Butler will be home for the holidays to greet Piqua at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Piqua is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
